What are the Sweeps?
The Sweeps are a Chippers team game that uses the scoring results to compose the teams.
Players are grouped into categories A-B-C, based on their scoring results . The A players are those with the lowest score and are ranked 1 through X (however many teams are created). The same applies for the B and C groups. The lowest ranked A player is matched with the highest ranked B player and the teams are matched in succession. The C players are then randomly selected to complete the teams.
The scorecards are then used to select the best 2 scores from the team members to create the team score. The lowest team score is the winning score per side.
With four man teams, there are 4 groups A-B-C-D, The A and B player and C and D player are matched the same way as with the 3 man teams. The C-D grouping is randomly drawn to create the teams with the A-B groupings. The best 3 scores are used.
